Invesco STOXX Europe 600 UCITS ETF Acc

Investment Risks

For complete information on risks, refer to the legal documents. The value of investments, and income from them, can go down as well as up and you may not get back the full amount you invested. Other financial institutions provide services such as safekeeping of assets or as a counterparty to financial contracts such as derivatives. The Fund is exposed to the risk of bankruptcy, or any other type of default of the counterparty related to any trading transaction entered into by the Fund. In order to reach its investment objective, the Fund enters into swap agreements which provide the performance of the Reference Index, and may imply a range of risks which could lead to an adjustment or even the early termination of the swap agreement. Lower liquidity means there are insufficient buyers or sellers to allow the Fund to sell or buy investments readily. On-exchange liquidity may be limited due to Reference Index suspension, a decision by one of the relevant stock exchanges, or a breach by the market maker of respective stock exchange requirements and guidelines. The investment concerns the acquisition of units in a fund and not in a given underlying asset.

Product description

The Invesco STOXX Europe 600 UCITS ETF Acc aims to provide the net total return performance of the STOXX Europe 600 Index (the "Reference Index"), less the impact of fees.

The Reference Index is derived from the STOXX Europe Total Market Index (TMI) and is a subset of the STOXX Europe Global 1800 Index. With a fixed number of 600 stocks, the Reference Index represents large, mid and small capitalisation companies across European countries. Consituents are weighted by a free float market capitalisation, subject to a 20% cap.

The fund aims to achieve its objective by holding a basket of equities, which typically delivers most of the fund’s return but ordinarily would not be the same as those in the reference index. The fund will also use unfunded swaps, which are contracts whereby one or more approved counterparties agrees to exchange with the fund any difference between the returns of the index and the basket of equities held. The aim is to achieve a closer and more consistent performance relative to the index than would generally be possible through physical replication alone.

While the investment objective of the fund is to replicate the net total return index, the swaps entered into by the fund reference the gross total return index. The swap fee paid by the fund is relative to this gross total return index and as a result the performance of the ETF is likely to exceed the return of the net return index.

This ETF is passively managed.
