Invesco EURO STOXX 50 UCITS ETF Dist

Investment Risks

For complete information on risks, refer to the legal documents. The value of investments, and any income from them, will fluctuate. This may partly be the result of changes in exchange rates. Investors may not get back the full amount invested. Other financial institutions provide services such as safekeeping of assets or as a counterparty to financial contracts such as derivatives. The Fund is exposed to the risk of bankruptcy, or any other type of default of the counterparty related to any trading transaction entered into by the Fund. In order to reach its investment objective, the Fund enters into swap agreements which provide the performance of the Reference Index, and may imply a range of risks which could lead to an adjustment or even the early termination of the swap agreement. Lower liquidity means there are insufficient buyers or sellers to allow the Fund to sell or buy investments readily. On-exchange liquidity may be limited due to Reference Index suspension, a decision by one of the relevant stock exchanges, or a breach by the market maker of respective stock exchange requirements and guidelines.

Product description

The Invesco EURO STOXX 50 UCITS ETF Dist aims to provide the net total return performance of the EURO STOXX 50® Index (the "Reference Index"), less the impact of fees. The fund distributes dividends on a semi-annually basis.

The Reference Index, Europe's leading blue chip index for the Eurozone, provides a blue chip representation of supersector leaders in the Eurozone. It comprises 50 stocks from Eurozone countries. Constituents are weighted by free float market capitalisation, subject to a 10% cap.

The fund aims to achieve its objective by holding a basket of equities, which typically delivers most of the fund’s return but ordinarily would not be the same as those in the reference index. The fund will also use unfunded swaps, which are contracts whereby one or more approved counterparties agrees to exchange with the fund any difference between the returns of the index and the basket of equities held. The aim is to achieve a closer and more consistent performance relative to the index than would generally be possible through physical replication alone.

While the investment objective of the fund is to replicate the net total return index, the swaps entered into by the fund reference the gross total return index. The swap fee paid by the fund is relative to this gross total return index and as a result the performance of the ETF is likely to exceed the return of the net return index.

To assist with meeting some of the Fund's costs, the Manager may receive an annual fees contribution of up to 0.070% of the swap notional amount from the swap counterparties active on this fund. This fee contribution has no impact on the Fund’s net asset value and does not represent an incremental cost borne by investors.

This ETF is passively managed.
